The wildlife sanctuaries located in the Eastern region of India are famous for their diverse topography and instinctive beauty. The region houses some of the most endangered species of the world like the Hispid Hare, Pygmy Hog, Wild Buffaloes, One-horned Rhinoceros, etc.

Some of the famous wildlife sanctuaries in East India are Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary, Manas Wildlife Sanctuary (Assam Roofed Turtle and Golden Langur) and Sundarbans National Park (Royal Bengal Tigers and thick mangrove forests). The wildlife is no less appealing in other wildlife sanctuaries as well.
